Round 9 Drawing, December 4, 1970
This drawing is of a victorious Muhammad Ali standing over his opponent in the boxing ring, surrounded by a crowd. The onlookers have facial details like noses, eyes, and mouths. They were also given various shades of hair color, and attempts to distinguish shirt colors. Titled Round 9 at the top of the paperboard. The drawing is dated December 4, 1970, just 3 days before Ali's fight against Oscar Bonavena. It shows Ali's prediction that he was going to defeat Bonavena in the 9th round.
