'I Was Surprised...All Walcott's Fault'--Liston - The Record American, May 26, 1965
Newspaper clipping with two articles about the rematch fight between Muhammad Ali (referred to as Cassius Clay) and Sonny Liston. Liston blamed his loss on the referee, former Heavyweight Champion Jersey Joe Walcott, because he did not pick up the count from the timekeeper. Aside from a controversial ending to the fight, the people of the smalltown of Lewiston, Maine, were thrilled to have it there.
