A letter to Garland D. Cherry, an attorney for Inter-Continental Promotions, Inc., from Gordon B. Davidson, an attorney for the Louisville Sponsoring Group, regarding the new date for the second fight between Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston. The fight was originally scheduled for November 16, 1964, but Ali underwent an emergency operation to repair a hernia and was subsequently barred from training for three months.
