Note from Phone Call, July 28, 1966
A typewritten note regarding a phone call that was made by Taha Hamid, the First Secretary at the Embassy of Iraq in Washington, D.C. Hamid stated that an Iraqi prisoner hand-wove a carpet that he wished to gift to Muhammad Ali. This note was among the records of the Louisville Sponsoring Group and likely written by Arthur W. Grafton, their lawyer, or is secretary.
