Face of Ali, Digital Painting

"In celebration of the life and legacy of 'The Greatest', Muhammad Ali, Joshua Rhodes created Face of Ali. A composite of Ali young and old, the illustration portrays the unflinching Champion and the compassionate humanitarian with a fierce and unrelenting spirit of confidence and emboldened tenacity. Face of Ali is an intricate journey of an inspired young boy who became a legendary global influence.

Louisville native Joshua Rhodes is a talented young artist who began creating digital paintings and illustrations shortly after high school. He credits Fairdale High School teacher, Gibbs Rounsavall with helping him discover the 'mental accumen of thinking creatively.' The artist's freehand paintings are drawn with a stylus, a pressure sensititive pen, that captures every nuance of his movement with accuracy and precision. Witha Cintiq graphics tablet and monitor, Joshua paints architectural landscapes, graphic novel characters, and portraits using the software as his canvas."

Commissioned by Sam and Susan Cilone and the FASTSIGNS Louisville Team.
