No Deferment Seen for Clay By Official - The Louisville Times, February 16, 1966
A short newspaper article about the uncertainty surrounding whether or not, or when, Muhammad Ali (referred to as Cassius Clay) would be inducted into the United States Army after being drafted for the Vietnam War. Previously, he had been rejected for the draft because of his score on an aptitude test, but a recent change in evaluation made him eligible to be drafted.
