Joe Louis was in Army 48 Hours After Enlisting - The Courier-Journal, February 18, 1966

A newspaper article about Joe Louis, a former Heavyweight Champion, and his time in the military. Louis had received a notification that he was going to be drafted into the military during World War II and immediately went to a recruiting office and enlisted. This article comes after news broke that Muhammad Ali (referred to as Cassius Clay) may be drafted after his reclassification as an eligible candidate for the military.
