The Ali Shuffle
Whenever they were together, Muhammad Ali and LeRoy Neiman would often draw - either side by side or collaboratively. This particular piece depicts Ali's famous footwork in the ring, otherwise known as the "Ali Shuffle."
The sketch was completed on stationary related to the fight headquarters and ticket offices in Houston, Texas, meaning it was likely done prior to Ali's fight against Cleveland Williams on November 14, 1966.
